Education and Experience
Texas oral surgeon, Dr. Fayette Williams received his undergraduate degree in classical guitar performance at Furman University in 1997. He earned his DDS at University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in 2002 and his medical degree from University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 2005.
Having completed a Fellowship in Maxillofacial Oncology and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Michigan Health System, Dr. Williams specializes in the areas of oral cancer, pathology, and reconstruction and is one of the few surgeons in the United States that can perform a specialized surgery for patients with oral cancer and place immediate implants the same day. He truly values the personalized care offered at Facial and Oral Surgery Associates and seeks to help all patients fully understand their diagnoses and treatment options, treating each as he would a close friend or family member.
Dr. Williams is a reviewer for the Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology, Oral Radiology, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
